Meet the new Fuel EX 27.5 Plus.

Trek's most popular trail bike gets more capable with more travel and bigger tires.

The all new Fuel EX 27.5 Plus delivers more traction, increased travel, and a low, slack geometry. New riders will notice the increased stability and confidence-inspiring traction of the meaty 27.5 x 2.8" tires, while seasoned shredders will find themselves blasting through technical terrain with ease. With three rowdy models to choose from, there’s a Fuel EX Plus for every trail rider who wants to up their game.

27.5 Plus Tires

The Fuel EX 27.5 Plus rolls on 27.5 x 2.8" Chupacabra tires mated to wide 40mm rims. This setup strikes a balance between fat bike traction and trail bike agility. These things deliver a healthy dose of added confidence to devour berms and destroy rooty, off-camber trails.

Longer Travel

Up front, the travel on the new Fuel EX 27.5 Plus has grown from 130mm to 140mm. Out back you'll find 130mm of RE:aktiv controlled Full Floater suspension. Big tires write big checks, and the excellent suspension cashes them, no problem.

Updated Geometry

The new frame is available in Alpha Platinum Aluminum or OCLV Mountain carbon and features a slack geometry. Boost axle spacing makes room for those meaty tires and allows Trek to keep the chainstays at a playful 433mm.
